Grand Cru Hand-Made Porteur Style Chaincase
Porteur style chaincases are finally available again. They are based on the designs used by constructeur-built porteur and city bikes. Perfect for couriers, city bikes, and restoration. They can be polished, painted, or left as is.
They are beautifully hand crafted in unpolished aluminum. These chaincases are entirly handmade right here in Annapolis. The aluminum is cut, welded, and the weld filed smooth entirely by one craftsman in a small local shop.
The 110mm hole fits many modern cranks where the spider merges with the crank arm (as on the modern Sugino cranks) as well as older cranks. These are not compatible with a front derailleur. 48t maximum chainring size.
