Grand Cru Plume Alaire Chainguard, Blank

The Grand Cru Plume Alaire chainguard harkens back to the golden age of French city bikes. Once there were dozens of companies competing to make the most elegant chainguards. They kept one's trouser cuffs presentable and added a bit of style to even the most pedestrian city bike. Many were styled like bird wings or feathers. Today those old chainguards, especially the nicer ones, are very pricey and more apt to be in collections than on bikes. 

The Plume Alaire chainguard is cut from aluminum alloy and highly polished. This blank version has no etching and no mount drilling, so you can get it custom etched or painted and mounted for your application.  Mounting hardware that fits most steel frames is included. Fits chainrings to 46t.
